ABOUT AUTHORS

Originally from Atlanta, where she trained as an opera singer, in 1985 Nancy Irwin moved to New York City to pursue a career as a stand-up comedian.

Noone however laughs at the bestseller of "YOU-TURN: Changing Direction in Mid-life" whose offering was sought after by publishers for a newly released edition.

Following being booked all across the US and abroad, a 1994 move to L.A. ensued and upon learning that Hollywood was in need of more blondes Nancy returned to form and was heard to quip: "The road from comedy to mental health is very short, indeed."
